About Dan

I started programming when I was around 10 years old on a Commodore C128 personal computer with a whopping 512k of RAM. Something that would today be considered unuseable and ancient. There was no internet, the floppy drive was as large as the monitor and coding simple graphics to scroll across the screen could take hours... but I loved it. I still do.

The modern web and all of its capabilities has grown immensely and will only continue to get bigger. It's an exciting time to be a web developer and use tools such as Adobe Flash and Dreamweaver to produce amazing works of art from simple code and graphics. I get a great sense of accomplishment from starting with nothing and building something that looks fantastic, works well and most of all conveys the message it was intended to.

I don't consider myself a true photographer but I love being behind the lense shooting anything and everything that catches my eye. It started out much like my web development. A simple point and shoot digital camera sparked my interest in how a picture could be composed, planned and edited without waiting days or weeks for the prints to come back from the lab. It was so addicting that it led to a larger digital SLR camera which led to a backdrop, which led to a strobe or two and.... well, I think you get the idea. All of the photographs you'll see on this site were shot and edited by me.
